provide art and craft activities at lots of local events, such as Hadleigh Community and Leigh Regatta, and at local venues
such as Leigh Community Centre and Hadleigh Old
Fire Station, so please be sure to check out our calendar from time to time :
The
Art Ministry Events Calendar We
are providing free art and craft activities at the Lions Mid Summer Sports
Day and Fun Festival for Disabled People on 29th July. We
are providing free art and craft activities at the Hadleigh
Community Summer Fayre at John Burroughs Recreation
Ground on 3rd September. We held
a Seaside Summer Crafts afternoon at our base in Hadleigh
on Thursday 20th July. We were indoors and outdoor, the weather was good to us and the event was
well attended by the local community and our service users. There were free
activities and others costing just 50p or £1 and refreshments including drink
and a cake for just £1! We always strive to make our events accessible to
all. We
have made a series of instructional videos for creative activities – you can
watch them here. In
2018 we raised nearly £250 with our 4 hour long slime workshop and arts and
crafts activities at Leigh Community Centre during October half-term. We were
joined by 130 children! You can find our slime recipe here. |
