Our students pay a nominal fee for each session that they attend. These fees go some way to meeting our costs, but the majority of our funding comes in the form of grants that we have applied for and from money that we have raised ourselves.

Become a Co-op Member for just 1 and until the end of October The Art Ministry will receive 1% of the cost of any Co-op branded items that you buy. You will get 5% cash back! Make sure that you choose The Art Ministry as your "local cause". You can join up here.

We have already benefited from being part of the Co-op Local Community Fund from October 2016 to April 2017. The Art Ministry has just been awarded 2,825.26 towards the cost of providing its weekly arts and crafts session for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. We are very grateful to local Co-op Members for their support. You can see details of this project here.

Our most recent community event was at Leigh Community Centre during the Easter holidays. We were there on 3rd April and 40 children took part along with their parents/carers. We collected 160 for The Art Ministry's funds. You can see press coverage of the event here.

Cindy Carter, one of our regular class members completed a 42 length sponsored on 9th April to raise funds for The Art Ministry.

Our fundraising meal at East Chinese Restaurant in Southend during Whitsun half term raised 500. Thank you to everyone who supported this event.
