Our students pay a nominal fee for each session that they attend. These fees go some way to meeting our costs, but the majority of our funding comes in the form of grants that we have applied for and from money that we have raised ourselves.

You have until 21st November to vote for The Art Ministry to win a £1,000 award from the Aviva Community Fund. You get 10 votes so make sure you use them all. Vote here.

During November we are taking part in the Waitrose Community Fund green token scheme at the Leigh on Sea shop. Please let us have your tokens so we get a good share of the £1,000 on offer.

We have already benefited from being part of the Co-op Local Community Fund from October 2016 to April 2017 and May 2017 to November 2017. In April The Art Ministry has just been awarded £2,825.26 towards the cost of providing its weekly arts and crafts session for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities. We are very grateful to local Co-op Members for their support.

We had a fundraising meal at the Maharaja Indian Restaurant in Benfleet on 26th October and raised just over £500. Thank you to everyone who supported this event.

So far this year we have raised nearly £1,000 from our children’s arts and crafts activities at Leigh Community Centre. Over 70 children took part in our October half term event. You can see press coverage here. We are back at the Leigh Community Centre in October for Leigh Lights Pre-parade fun on 24th November from 4pm.
